Hoffrichter Point Powerpack

Overview

The powerpack point is intended for providing the respiratory therapy device point with voltage.

The battery system is provided for supplying voltage in the following two cases:

Mobile Mode

In the mobile mode, the batteries are the only source to supply the therapy device with power. In this case, the battery has a capacity ensuring operation of the therapy device of about 8 hours. After this time has elapsed, the therapy device must be connected to the external power supply to be recharged.

Power Failure Backup

The power failure backup function ensures safe operation without any therapy failures in regions with frequent power failures. In this case, the therapy device is operated through the external power supply system. In the event of a power failure, the therapy device automatically switches from the external power system to the battery mode without any interruption in the therapy. After power has been restored, the therapy device is again operated through the external power supply system, and the batteries will be recharged in standby mode.
